Article: Is there a MUSLIM MINDSET
http://epaper.timesofindia.com/Repository/getimage.dll?path=TOIBG/2008/09/21/13/Img/Pg013.png
I was surprised and shocked after reading the article. It is totally one sided and biased. Not a single Muslim has expressed their desire or possible solution to it. For me they are crying foul. No one openly blamed or condemned the individuals or groups of their community for current situation, rather these people are busy in blaming Hindus for their current state of mindset.
I was very disappointed to know from the notable activist, actress, author (who contributed to the article) no one dares to recommend some solution for the problem.
As per my understanding the gap can be bridge by building confidence from both the communities. For which Muslims (along with Hindus) has to take one step forward. But with Congress and other parties supporting there vote banks and BJP opposing for the same reason this seem to be distinct dream.
Who is to blame for poor literacy rate amongst them? Who is to blame for there economic conditions? No one has the guts to do introspection on it. Everyone is taking an easy route of blaming others.
Someone even mentioned that Hindu group’s aggression and destruction is handled by soft hands. Now this is ridiculous, what is wrong is always wrong. I want to ask the gentleman if he will be satisfied if police take a stern action against such activist.
Even after that the root cause of the problem will remain the same.
If they are so concerned the way they have been treated. They should first try to create a consensus to stop the anti-national activities or at least be vigilant of suspicious behavior in their area. Otherwise the day is not far when there will be ‘Right of Admission reserved’ in hospital against them.
Let me tell them, we have not developed our mindset overnight. But it was after repeated attacks on our country and systematic way of disturbing peace in our country. This was eventually carried out by our Muslim brothers. After that we have no other option than to believe that irrespective of social and financial status any person can turn into terrorist. In fact today’s nasty guys are very well educated and had even worked for some of the top MNC’s.
Be selective rather than sorry!!
May be some day I would rather read a article; Muslim Mindset; Muslims are responsible for.

Janma-Bhoomi v/s Karma-Bhoomi
I cannot stop myself to add my 2 cents on the recent controversy created by Ms. Jaya Bachchan. These kind of things always puzzles me and I am not able to take clear stand on it. Simple reason behind it is; being born in Mumbai and spent almost 95% of my life there currently I am staying in Bangalore for more than 5 years and considers it as my Karma-Bhoomi.
For the guys who are in similar situation like I am, might agree to it. No one moves out of his state/city happily or rather it should be a conscious decision to move away from your home town either for money, better facilities/opportunities, even away from in-laws etc etc. These feelings will always remains in their mind and sometimes take a front seat (as in case of Ms. Bachchan). To truly understand it, you have to move away from your place.
I was also having the same hard views earlier, but now I ask myself; if my 8 year old son is forced to take Kannada language, what will happen! Am I prepared for it? No way, though I sincerely try to learn the local language and never misses opportunity to show my skills, still I am not ready to have it included in my sons curriculum. Also let me clarify I encourage my son to learn the local language, so that he will be handy when I have to fight with local auto drivers or hawkers (of course to bargain).
People who are migrants like me are facing this identity crises. Being away for so many years from our home town we cannot reconnect with it and the city we are staying is not ready to accept us.
So this message to all those who are reading this (even to those who don’t bother to notice it). All this issue is blown out of proportion, our politicians are Not At All concerned and interested in common public, rather they are taking such useless issues which provoke ignorant people and help them to get votes (or strengthen their party).
These so-called leaders should be asked what you are doing to retain the (remaining) local population in the state/city. May we request you to concentrate on making conscious efforts to achieve this goal.
So Simbal, isn't it!!
